Our seasons are generally as follows depending on stock levels:
February 1 – June 30 Spring & Summer clothing. This includes short sleeves, tanks, skirts, shorts, lightweight pants, joggers, sundresses, swimsuits, rain boots, regular weight hoodies, jeans, cotton & lightweight pajamas/sleepers
July 1 – Nov 15 Fall & Winter clothing. This includes sweaters, hoodies, long sleeves, jeans, joggers, fleece sleepers, cotton & fleece pajamas, fall jackets, sleep sacks, Christmas wear
Winter Outerwear, Accessories & Snow Boots begins Sept 1
Brands & Sorting
Sort your brand name clothing and shoes from newborn to teen. Please check carefully for stains, holes, excessive wear, fading, odors, broken zippers or missing buttons. Please check carefully for stains around sleeves & hemlines. Clothing must have tags indicating brand and size. Please remove personal name labels (ex. Mabel’s Labels) Shoes & boots should be in excellent shape with minimal wear and free from dirt and debris, including the soles. We prefer clothing that was purchased within the past 3 years in keeping with current styles. 30 items per drop off (folded or laid flat) to ensure quick entry into our system. We cannot accept items that are brought in to the store in garbage bags. Please use a laundry basket, small box or reusable grocery bag.

Bring your items in during store hours. If you are a new consignor, we will collect your information and set you up with a Consignor Account. During your visit, we will go through your items and select what we can take based on condition, style, sizes needed & what we know will sell quickly in the store. Please allow us 10-15 minutes per drop off to sort through clothing. Sometimes there will be items that we can not accept. TIP: Bring in your items early in the season for your best return! Items received toward the end of the season may be discounted sooner.
You receive 40% of the selling price of your items. As your Consignor Account grows, you may use your accumulated balance towards purchases made on anything in the store. This includes gently used clothing and new toys, games, gifts & more! Alternatively, you may request a cheque for accounts $25 or more. For accounting purposes, after 1 year of inactivity on your account, your funds will only be available as store credit. All inactive accounts will be charged a service fee of $5/year.
The consignment period is 90 days from the time your items are entered into our system. When you drop off your items, you may request a return date. If you would like unsold items returned to you, contact us by the Return Date and we will pack up your remaining items for pick up. If we do not hear from you, items become property of Spring Children and will be donated or may be sold in a season-end sale. Donations are made to local charitable groups including Connections Perth.
